College football's greatest teams: The best season from every ACC program


UNC claimed ACC football championships in 1976 and 1980, but that ACC wasn't as tough as the league was in 1997. It took a few years to get going, but 's Tar Heels were producing NFL talents regularly and in 1996 and 1997, finishing with double-digit wins and top-10 finishes.
