Former Tar Heels struggle on the court but are well paid

The four North Carolina basketball players who left school early for the NBA after winning the 2005 national championship earned a combined $9,888,400 in salary for their rookie seasons. Not bad for a collection of college dropouts who put up modest numbers while learning the NBA game. Raymond Felton had the most productive rookie season, averaging 11.9 points and 5.6 assists and showing he could play either guard position. (Asheville Citizen-Times)
