An update on Tar Heels slinging wooden bats in the Cape Cod League: No Tar Heels made the All-Star cut this summer. It’s not for lack of talent, but time. One of the side effects of having a long NCAA run is that the players join these teams late in the season and really don’t have enough time to earn an All-Star appearance. They are still making waves, though. (Tar Heel Blog)
