Ivory Latta has knee surgery

North Carolina women's basketball point guard Ivory Latta, who was injured in the Tar Heels' season-ending loss to Maryland, underwent surgery Friday to repair a torn lateral meniscus in her left knee. "...We expect her to be back at full strength by the time things get going in the fall," Dr. Tim Taft, UNC's director of sports medicine, said in a statement.
