The old cliche that hope springs eternal is never truer than when the daffodils are fading, tulips are beginning to bloom and collegiate football teams stage an annual ritual known as the "spring game." University of North Carolina coach John Bunting put it best when he jokingly entered the press room after Saturday's spring game and said, "We won." (Chapel Hill News)
