I know there three players reported ofs. Shaquille Rashad the most noticeable player in that bunch. I think that's a blow.

Just on Defense, Nathan Staub, Shawn Underwood, Clint Heaven, Des Lawrence, Dominique Green, Joseph Jackson, Darien Rankin, and Tommy Heffernan have all missed Multiple Practices; several others going half-speed.  At least one of these will miss multiple games, and another one is rumored to be out for the year.

Nathan Staub "tore his knee up" according to an anonymous source in this article...thus Schoettmer's insertion into the starting LB role.

Freshman running back/kick returner T.J. Logan did not scrimmage Saturday. He's reportedly nursing a knee injury and may miss a few weeks. There's been no official word on his status, but we'll hope for a quick recovery if the news is accurate.

Injuries are a part of the game.  We were very fortunate last year to have so few.  It's unfortunate that the defense seems to be taking the brunt of most of these this year.  However, I am not sure how much we were counting on the defense.  Just being a "middle of the pack" defense should allow us a 9 win season.

At least the backup played alot last year. If the DBs stay in position more then we will prevent so many big plays and be alot better.

Larry Fedora said at his press conference today that T.J. Logan remains "unavailable" for Georgia Tech. How long do they wait before they consider redshirting him, or do they consider it at all?
