Key basketball transfer ruled eligible to play immediately for Virginia

Virginia announced on Monday that forward Alabama transfer Braxton Key will be eligible to play for the Cavaliers this season. Key is a 6-foot-8 junior that spent the first two years of his college career playing for the Crimson Tide. As a freshman, he averaged 12.0 points and 5.7 rebounds, but he was limited last season after missing the first ten games following knee surgery.
