N.C. State names basketball arena in honor of Jim Valvano

On Wednesday, N.C. State cruised past Western Carolina 100-67 in the newly-named James T. Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum in the team's annual Heritage Game at its former home. Before the game, the Wolfpack held a dedication ceremony to the Hall Of Fame coach. Jim Valvano led the Pack for 10 seasons, with the highlight being the 1983 NCAA championship.
