UNC Women's Lacrosse Runs Past Virginia, 14-7, To NCAA Final Four


No. 3 seed North Carolina went on an 11-0 run after trailing early to beat No. 6 seed Virginia, 14-7, in an NCAA Tournament quarterfinal game on Saturday at UNC Lacrosse Soccer Stadium (Highlights). The Tar Heels held Virginia scoreless for over 35 minutes to build a 12-3 lead, then held on while the Cavaliers scored four late goals in the second half. (GoHeels.com)
