North Carolina is in desperate need of a victory to prevent entering their final two weeks of the regular season needing two wins to qualify for postseason eligibility. UNC has one win over a team with a winning record this season (Miami) and therefore has a difficult task ahead against a Pittsburgh squad still in running to repeat as Coastal Division champions.
