Tar Heels Fall in Double Overtime in Blacksburg

Virginia Tech’s Tyrece Radford drove to the rim for the game-winning layup with 0.3 seconds left to secure a 79-77 double-overtime victory for the Hokies while handing UNC its first six-game ACC losing streak in program history. The shorthanded Tar Heels led 49-37 with 12:59 to play before Virginia Tech finished the half on a 23-11 run to force overtime.
