Joanne McCallie won't return as Duke's women's basketball coach

After 13 seasons, Joanne P. McCallie will not return as the women's basketball coach at Duke because of what she described as uncertainty over a contract extension as she entered the final year of her current deal. In a video posted on Thursday morning to the team's official Twitter account, McCallie said she is healthy and she spoke about her reasoning.
