NCAA live recruiting periods, open gyms unlikely in September

The NCAA has already extended the recruiting dead period through Aug. 31 due to the coronavirus pandemic, and now it looks unlikely that there will be live periods in September, either. The NCAA Division I Council is due to vote on July 15 about the September dates, one source said. “It doesn’t look good,” the source said.
