Led by Kiersten Licea and Brittany Pickett at the plate, the UNC softball team rebounded from a 2-0 game one setback to defeat Troy, 8-2, in game two of the doubleheader at the Crimson Classic on Friday afternoon in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In addition to two home runs at the plate, Pickett anchored UNC in the circle, totaling 18 strikeouts in 11.2 innings.
