LaToya Sanders Joins Washington Mystics Coaching Staff

Washington Mystics General Manager and coach Mike Thibault announced that LaToya Sanders has been elevated to assistant coach for the 2021 WNBA season. Sanders recently announced her retirement from the WNBA and had joined the team’s player development group. A UNC alumna, Washington acquired Sanders prior to the 2012 season.
