Virginia Tech basketball lands seven-footer Patrick Wessler


On Sunday afternoon, the Virginia Tech men’s basketball program picked up a verbal commitment from Combine Academy big man Patrick Wessler. The seven-foot center chose Virginia Tech over offers from NC State, Ole Miss, Providence, USC Trojans, Creighton, East Carolina, Elon, Iowa, Mercer, New Orleans, Ohio State, USF, and Wake Forest.
