As David Simon walked to M&T Bank Stadium before the Baltimore Ravens' thrilling 36-35 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, he thought he was losing his mind. What Simon, the creator of the hit HBO series "The Wire" set in Baltimore, heard was indeed the stadium's loudspeakers playing the famous Omar Little whistle.
