Heilmann Proves It On the Mat, UNC Olympic Sports Notes


When Troy Heilmann took the mat Saturday for the 149-pound title match at the ACC Wrestling Championships, he had already earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Wrestling Championships. But he still had more he wanted to prove. With a 3-1 decision over Virginia Tech's Ryan Blees, Heilmann did just that, claiming the title in his final match at Carmichael Arena. (GoHeels.com)
