Dates set for UNC men's and women’s basketball games against Florida in Jumpman Invitational

North Carolina’s men’s and women’s basketball teams will play Florida on separate nights at the Jumpman Invitational at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center. The men play the Gators on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The UNC women will play Florida on Wednesday, Dec. 18. The game times and the order of games each night haven’t been set and will be determined by ESPN. (Tar Heel Tribune)

UNC Women's Basketball Announces Signing Of Arizona State Transfer Guard Trayanna Crisp

Trayanna Crisp will join the UNC women's basketball team as a transfer, coach Courtney Banghart announced Monday. Crisp, who played two years at Arizona State, is the second transfer to sign with the Tar Heels in the offseason, following Grace Townsend in April. After being a key part of the UNC Women's Basketball program's resurgence the last four seasons, Deja Kelly will play her fifth college season at Oregon, which lost 21 games last season and hasn’t been to the NCAA tournament since 2022. RyLee Grays became the second former UNC women's basketball player to commit to another ACC team when she announced Tuesday that she would continue her career at Virginia. UNC honored the best athletes and performances of the last year at the annual Rammys on Monday night. The top male and female athletes were no surprise, as All-American guard R.J. Alyssa Ustby returning to UNC Women's Basketball for fifth season

Co-captain Alyssa Ustby is returning to the UNC women's basketball team for a fifth season. Ustby announced Friday on an Instagram post that she’ll play for Carolina next season as a graduate student after four outstanding seasons for the Tar Heels, including being named first-team All-ACC as a junior and second-team All-ACC as a sophomore and senior.
