UNC Golfer David Ford Leads USA To World Amateur Team Title


UNC men's golfer David Ford led the field with a final-round 8-under-par 64 to help lead the United States to an 11-stroke victory Saturday in the World Amateur Team Championship in Abu Dhabi. Ford climbed 28 spots in the fourth round to finish tied for fifth at 13-under 275, three strokes behind the individual champion, Kazuma Kobori of New Zealand (GoHeels.com)
