ACC generates $29M in football bowl revenue

The ACC came away from college football’s postseason with more than just a disappointing 3-4 record – ACC teams also brought back $28.85 million in bowl game revenue. About $7.8 million of that money already is slotted to help pay for the teams’ travel expenses. UNC’s loss in the Meineke Car Care Bowl generated $1 million in revenue. The Tar Heels also got $1 million for their expenses. (Triangle Business Journal)
