Tar Heel Golfers Lose At North & South Amateur


UNC golfers Jack Fields and Robert Riesen both lost in the second round of match play at the 110th North and South Amateur being played at Pinehurst #2. Fields, a rising junior from nearby Southern Pines, lost to Josh Eure, from Crofton, Md., 4 and 2. Fields lost the second and third holes and was never able to rebound. Riesen, who played on the 2006-2009 golf teams, lost to Joseph Bramlett, of Saratoga, Calif. (Tar Heel Blue)
