Two UNC golfers qualify for U.S. Women’s Amateur


Catherine O’Donnell, a rising junior on North Carolina’s golf team, and Katherine Perry, a rising freshman, tied for first place at the sectional qualifier in Lexington, N.C., to qualify for the 2010 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship. This year’s prestigious event will be played August 9-15 at Charlotte Country Club in Charlotte, N.C. (WRAL Sports Fan)
