Big changes planned for downtown Chapel Hill

Downtown Chapel Hill could be in for some major changes in the coming years. Seven new road connections, a new Transit Transfer Center, more public space and increased residential density are just a few of the ideas included in a concept draft plan to improve downtown accessibility and more clearly differentiate it from surrounding neighborhoods.
