Father, son charged in death of UNC mascot

Prosecutors have charged two men in connection with a fatal wreck that killed Jason Ray, the UNC mascot who was struck by an SUV in New Jersey last March. The man who was driving the Mercury Mountaineer had a suspended license, Bergen County prosecutors said, and his father lied under oath, claiming that he was the one behind the wheel.
