Courtney Jones Named Tar Heel Performer of the Week

Courtney Jones, a senior forward from Danville, Calif. on the Tar Heel women's soccer team, has been named the Tar Heel Performer of the Week for August 22-28, 2011. Jones figured in both goals in UNC's 2-1 win over top-ranked and defending NCAA champion Notre Dame August 26 and then came back two days later to assist on the opening goal in Carolina's 6-1 win over Houston.
