Tom Scherrer Earns 2008 PGA Tour Card

Former UNC golfer Tom Scherrer stared pressure right in the eye last week and responded with one of his best performances of the year. Scherrer stood in 27th place on the Nationwide Tour's money list last week and needed to move up to the top 25 to earn his PGA?TOUR card for 2008. Scherrer responded by tying for third place at the Nationwide Tour Championship at Barona Creek in Lakeside, Calif.
