Carolina Mourns The Death Of Kirk Urso

UNC director of athletics Bubba Cunningham has issued the following statement on the death this morning of Kirk Urso, a rookie midfielder for the Columbus (Ohio) Crew and a captain on the Tar Heels' 2011 men's soccer team that won the NCAA championship: "In the very brief time I spent with Kirk it became evident that he was a natural leader...Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to Kirk's family and friends."
