Tar Heels, Rams Post Scoreless Draw

Freshman goalkeeper Tyler Deric and the North Carolina defense recorded their fourth shutout in eight tries this season, but the Tar Heels were unable to score a goal of their own and had to settle for their fourth tie, a 0-0 draw with VCU Saturday at SportsBackers Stadium. Now 2-2-4 on the year, Carolina remains unbeaten away from Chapel Hill this season, while the Rams sit 4-1-2 on the year following the tie.
