Twitter CEO Commits NCAA Recruiting Violation on Twitter

Twitter CEO and University of Michigan alum and supporter Dick Costolo appears to have committed an NCAA recruiting violation by contacting a Wolverines recruit — on, yes, Twitter of all places. Costolo is widely identified as a Wolverines booster and actually gave the school's commencement address in May. The NCAA has rules restricting how boosters and recruits are allowed to interact, prohibiting them from, among other things, contacting "a prospect by telephone, email, Internet or letter."
