NCAA restores eligibility of Wake RB Josh Harris
Posted Aug 9, 2013
The Wake Forest football team got some good news Friday when it learned that the NCAA has approved Josh Harris’ appeal, restoring his eligibility and allowing the senior running back to play this season. Harris, who rushed for a team-leading 608 yards last season and has amassed 1,760 yards and 15 touchdowns for his career, was declared ineligible just before the start of preseason camp. Though no official reason was given for the action, it is believed to have involved academics.
