Heels lacrosse won't be denied against Navy


No. 8 seed UNC outscored No. 9 seed Navy 5-1 in the fourth quarter on its way to a 12-8 victory over the Midshipmen in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Fetzer Field. The Tar Heels (10-5) allowed just two goals in the second half to the same team that blitzed them 19-8 on March 2, earning a date with top-seeded Duke (15-2) in the quarterfinals next Sunday in Annapolis, Md.
