The worst losses in recent NC State sports history

I’ve covered, in some capacity, NC State sports for someone from 2001 until now. In that time, I’ve seen some pretty remarkable successes, eight NCAA tournament appearances and on the baseball side a College World Series run, and some devastating losses. But today we’re focusing on the worst of times, the truly heartbreaking and brutal losses.
