Global Rankings place UNC 46th among the top world universities

Recognized once again as one of the leading global public research universities, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ranks 46th among the top universities in the world, up one spot from last year. It was 12th among U.S. public universities on the London-based Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
