Omar Holness Sends #8 UNC Men's Soccer Past NC State


Omar Holness scored in the 76th minute to give No. 8 North Carolina a 1-0 victory over NC State Friday. UNC (10-4, 4-2 ACC) notched its fifth-straight win when the Jamaican National sent a bullet into the far left corner from 15 yards out that proved to be the game winner. NC State had its three-match unbeaten streak snapped, falling to 0-6-2 against the Tar Heels in the last eight meetings in Raleigh. (GoHeels.com)
