Virginia coach Tony Bennett goes to 'battle' for defense

For starters, Tony Bennett wants to see his Virginia team lose a battle this preseason. It was Bennett’s father, former Wisconsin coach Dick Bennett, who taught him years ago that if he wanted to build a college basketball program based on defense, he’d have to be unrelenting in his demand for precision at that end of the floor.
