Florida State guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes scored 30 points in the final 4:39 of Wednesday's 81-77 loss to Miami. Rathan-Mayes, a freshman, scored 26 straight points until Seminoles guard Robbie Berwick made a three-pointer with 23 seconds remaining. Rathan-Mayes assisted on the play. During that stretch, Florida State cut Miami's 62-44 lead to 73-69. Rathan-Mayes also made four free throws in the final seconds, but Miami was able to hold on by sinking its own foul shots.
