N.C. State forward Lennard Freeman has leg surgery

Lennard Freeman, a rising junior on the NC State basketball team, recently underwent successful surgery to heal a fracture in his lower right leg. Freeman will rehab under the supervision of N.C. State sports medicine and team doctor personnel. He’s expected to resume full basketball activity within four months. Freeman, a 6-foot-8 forward, started 21 games last season for the Wolfpack.
