Carter Jenkins Posts Historic Win At Carolinas Amateur

Carter Jenkins, a rising junior at the University of North Carolina, tied the course record with an 8-under 64 to win his third consecutive Carolinas Golf Amateur championship and become the first player since 1923 to win the event three times. Jenkins matches the feat of winning the Carolinas Amateur three times accomplished only by Fred Laxton in 1921, 1922 and 1923. (GoHeels.com)
