ESPN expands Mack Brown’s role at network

Former Texas and North Carolina coach Mack Brown will begin working Friday night games in the announcer’s booth as part of ESPN’s coverage of college football. Brown, as an analyst, will join the ESPN crew of Dave Flemming and Allison Williams for the Friday night games. His first assignment will be the Baylor-SMU game, Sept. 4, in Dallas. Brown also will be in studio each Saturday for ESPN.
