Gab Major Leads UNC's 8-3 Win At Virginia

Gab Major tied a University of North Carolina program record with five goals in a driving rainstorm on Friday, leading the third-ranked Tar Heels to an 8-3 win at fourth-ranked Virginia. Major added an assist as Carolina posted its sixth consecutive victory. The Tar Heels improve to 10-1 overall, 3-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play this fall. UVA falls to 8-2, 2-2.
