Homegrown Halloween ends early with no arrests or citations


Franklin Street's Homegrown Halloween ended at 11:00 p.m., one hour earlier than last year and saw fewer incidents than in past years. This year's event drew a crowd of approximately 40,000 people—8,000 more than last year— but police conducted no arrests and issued no citations as of 12:30 a.m. Last year, police pressed charges against 13 people.
