Back in Chapel Hill, my parents thrived. Dad taught Serbo-Croatian, Russian and Russian literature at UNC. Chapel Hill’s friendliness, relaxed pace and intellectual environment suited him....And in 1965 he began a love affair that would last until the day he died. He purchased his first season ticket to Carolina basketball games which in those days were played in creaky Woollen Gym. (Chapelboro.com)
