The last place Emmanuel Omogbo saw his father alive was the same place where he remembers seeing him for the first time. Omogbo, a 6-foot-8, Nigerian-born power forward for Colorado State, was at home in Maryland over Christmas break. He spent a few nights in Chillum, basking in a chance to take a break from basketball and to relax.
