Alison Clemens making big strides in pool at North Carolina
Posted Jan 25, 2007
Alison Clemens was named both UNC/ Progress Energy Performer of the Week and ACC Swimmer of the Week. As the Tar Heels performer of the week, she beat out, among others, men's basketball player and preseason National Player of the Year candidate Tyler Hansbrough. "I was in shock. I wasn't expecting all of that. But it was kind of cool to see the Web site with my face all over it."
