#5 Tar Heels Men's Lacrosse Falls to Hofstra

Hofstra led virtually the entire way Saturday in defeating fifth-ranked North Carolina 10-5 in men’s lacrosse at Fetzer Field. Sam Llinares scored five goals for the Pride and Josh Byrne had four goals and two assists in Hofstra’s lopsided season-opening win over the Tar Heels. UNC (2-1) defeated Michigan and Furman in its opening two games of 2016. (GoHeels.com)
