JuCo All-American quarterback Gardner Minshew commits to ECU

On the same day that former quarterback Kurt Benkert committed to Virginia, East Carolina filled the void his transfer left on its depth chart under center with the addition of junior college All-American Gardner Minshew. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Mississippi native completed 61 percent of his passes for 3,288 yards and 28 touchdowns while throwing only five interceptions last season. (Wilmington Star News)
