Major League Baseball's visit to Fort Bragg draws raves
Posted Jul 7, 2016
Major League Baseball appears to have hit a home run Sunday with the game between the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins on Fort Bragg. The Marlins beat the Braves 5-2 in the ESPN "Sunday Night Baseball" telecast, but the match-up of National League foes far transcended the sports pages. Those fortunate enough to get tickets to the game - along with military and political leaders in the crowd - had praise for MLB's expression of gratitude to service members.
