UNC Men's Soccer Draws 1-1 With South Carolina

The No. 8 UNC men’s soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with 24th-ranked South Carolina on Monday at Koka Booth Field at WakeMed Soccer Park. Tar Heel freshman Mauricio Pineda scored the equalizer in the 13th minute to answer an early goal from the Gamecocks by Kevin Walker. Walker Hume fed Pineda in front of the goal connecting with a header to make it 1-1.
