James Pyle Earns ACC Soccer Award For Shutout Of Syracuse

UNC goalkeeper James Pyle was named ACC Men’s Soccer Co-Defensive Player of the Week along with fellow net minders Zimo Miralles of Clemson and Jeff Caldwell of Virginia. Pyle, a sophomore from Charlotte, North Carolina, made five saves and kept No. 3 Syracuse off the scoreboard in 110 minutes of action for his ACC-leading sixth clean sheet of 2016.
